2007 Fall Bonsai Show (and Sale)
Saturday and Sunday, September 29 & 30, 2007, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Worner Student Center, Colorado College, 902 N. Cascade Ave. This was our fifth annual show at this venue. Sixty-eight compositions were displayed courtesy of ten members. The trees included the following: Japanese black pine, Elephant food (3), Green mound juniper, Ponderosa pine (8), Japanese maple forest (still green), American larch forest, Crown-of-thorns (Euphorbia) and succulent saikei in a rock-plate container, Chinese elm (2), Norfolk Island pine grove (as palm trees and hut by-the-sea), Banyan ficus (2), San José juniper, Colorado blue spruce (5), Amur maple grove, Shimpaku juniper (2), Dwarf Japanese juniper, Schefflera (2), Siberian elm grove, Texas ebony, Jasmine orange, European olive, Bougainvillea (variegated), Desert holly, Engelman spruce (2), Japanese five needle pine (2), large Red cedar grove on rock-plate pot and slab, Rosemary (in bloom), Satsuki azalea on built-rock cliff, Grape, Ficus benjamina, Australian brush cherry, Live oak, Brazilian rain tree, Jaboticaba, Fukien tea (3), Dwarf Alberta spruce, Spruce, Jade forest, Juniper, Black olive (unique fan style), Cork-bark Japanese black pine, English yew, Narrow-leaf fig, and Buttonwood (2).
